The Day Of Love & Fortune!

In battle, in the forest, at the precipice in the mountains, in the dark great sea, in the midst of javelins & arrows, in sleep, in confusion, in the depths of shame, the good deeds a man has done before, defend him. Today is very precious day! Someone special was born to fight against inhumanity. Born to save trust in God. The Dahi Handi celebrate God's playful & mischievous side. Lord Krishna's flute fills the melody of love & life in our world at all times. May Natkhat Nandlal always make your life colourful with lively pranks that keep you on your toes & instills & evokes childlike traits in you all life long. We experience a special peace in Krishna consciousness. Let's celebrate the glory of Shri Krishna as he ascended to destroy the evil from the face of the earth.

Lord Krishna teaches us to do everything we want to do, but not with greed, not with ego, not with lust, not with envy but with compassion, humility, love & devotion. Lord Krishna insisted on outer cleanliness & inner cleansing. Clean clothes & clean minds are an ideal combination. Lord Krishna comes to show us our way in life. He comes to teach us to be fearless & pure, to never waver in our determination or our dedication to the spiritual life. To give freely. To be self-controlled, sincere, truthful, loving, & full of desire to serve. Most of all to make us learn to be detached & to take joy in renunciation.

God's grace surpasses every evil. He teaches us to not harm any living creature, but be compassionate & gentle, to show good will to all. To cultivate vigor, patience, will, purity, avoid malice and pride. Lord Krishna is the best combination of a lover, a friend and divine guru. Lord Krishna is born as a child of light's wonderful secret and he returns to the beauty he has always been.

Happy Krishna Janmashtami!
