Power itself is not evil, it is we who change it's meaning by the way we use it. It can be used for good or for bad. Don't use your powers to downgrade others, instead use it to build, to enhance, to encourage, etc. Forgiveness too is a power. To request for it is a power & to withhold or bestow it is a power, perhaps the greatest. Remember, recognising power in another, does not diminish your own.
Truly powerful people have great humility. They do not try to impress, they do not try to be influential. They simply are. They are most often aware of their core selves. They never manipulate or lie to get their way. They listen, not just hear & if there is anything they can offer to assist you, they offer it. They welcome new ideas & perspectives & not block others way of thinking & doing. They value righteousness more than their ego.
Realise, learn, that sincerity must be reserved & given only to those who deserve it and one must save one's emotions, channelling them only to the people who are worthy of it. One must not throw one's pearls to any tom, dick & harry. Don't tell a lie to be loved, speak truth to be hated.
Your personal style is attractive, only to the extent, you do with it, what is right. Once you cross the fine line, you start losing respect. Don't shrink your standards. Our nonverbal behaviour (Including posture) gives away our inner personality & reflects our inner attitude.
Poise is power. The key to winning is poise under stress. If you are willing to trade your integrity for the appearance of success, then you likely had no integrity to begin with.
