Why limp when you can sprint?
With time comes perspective. Sometimes comfort doesn't
matter. When a shoe is freaking fabulous, it may be worth a subsequent day of
misery. Your shoes aren't nearly as valuable as the experience you've missed
out on because you were too busy keeping them clean. Leaders don't climb hills
of success with shoes of pride, as they are slippery enough to bring a person
down. All the expensive cars, clothes, shoes, bags, jewelries, and their
accessories can never make one very refined and sophisticated. Refinement and
sophistication can only come from a very enlightened mind.
It's not possible for a trumpet to work hard to lead
in the shoes of the microphone. You can only lead where you can function
better. God hasn't called you to walk in someone else's shoes. He wants you to
walk in the shoes that fit you, for which he made you. Let your unique identity
out and shine for who you truly are. You aren't going to succeed walking in
another person’s shoes.
